Mentor drug database incorporates various clinical terms to enable computerised clinical information to be shared, exchanged, retrieved and analysed.

Mentor drug database is currently released with decision support data based on the NHS Clinical Terms Version 2 (Read codes) and is committed to adding SNOMED CT terms in line with NHS objectives.

Mentor drug database actively supports the NHS’s strategic objective to provide a common language for healthcare terminology and facilitate a consistent way of capturing, sharing and collecting medical information.
